Cool Chameleon

This project is still very much in its infancy, we have been growing (as organically as possible) a wide variety of salad, veggies, herbs & trees etc for around 2 years.

This is very close (i.e. 4 mins walk) to a surf break locally known as ‘Whisky Point’, which is located about 25 mins walk north of another surf break – Pottuvil Point.  There is road access to both Whisky Point and to our land.

Our amazing gardener Aiya doesn’t speak English but he would be very proud to show you around, as most of what you would see is a result of his hard work.

The well water we have is really clean & unpolluted, so if you want to freshen up after your surf or swim, please help yourself to a ‘bucket’ shower!

We are trying (this takes some organizing as we have no electricity supply!) to provide cool mineral water & soft drinks. .Other drinks may be available on request.

We are currently building some traditional cabanas; these will soon be equipped with some very simple furnishing. .A compost toilet is planned and very soon a screened off shower enclosure for more private showering.

We can arrange for rice & curry to be cooked for you (doesn‘t have to be chili hot, just well tasty!), this would include veggies grown on our land.  Or if you fancy it why not a B-B-Q or just a beach fire & chillin’ with a few bevvies.
